Go crazy. What happened to the data?
When I saw the raw data, I was stunned. No wonder the data interpreter didn’t work.
and I couldn’t find the solution in “step-by-step solutions.”
It is tricky to preprocess the messy data before putting them into sheets, the answers are also misleading, it took me a lot of time to solve the first two questions correctly.
To solve the questions you do not need to preprocess the data before loading it in Tableau. You can specify directly which fields are used in the relationships without splitting, extracting values, or anything else.
Can you please share an example where you needed to preprocess the data before loading it?
I am sorry I might have missed the notification that my previous question had been answered, nevertheless, I solved the problems without pre-processing the datasheet, but it was a bit overwhelming to have the first glance at the datasheets, and it was indeed challenging for me to identify that “Soviet Union” has no Noc code quickly.
In the real exam there are no questions about relationships since it is still used Tableau version 2020.1.
The level of detail between the 2 tables different (you have a table on a year level while the teams event table is at a country level), this is why you should use relationships to solve the quiz.

Hello Jingyi,
Can you please provide more details and some print screens so we can see exactly what is the issue?
Thank you,
Narcis

Hello. How can we find the solutions of these last quizzes?
Hi Nusha,
The solutions for the last added quizzes are available now for download with the entire solutions guide for quizzes.
Thanks,
Narcis
In the first and second questions I used inner JOins.
First question my answer was USA 33.
But in the second question My answer is Italy-2004-39.
————————–
If I use relationship I get France 1900 answer.
But if I use inner join I get Italy 2004 answer.
———————————–
This is really confusing if we face in real exam with realtionship.
I always prefer using join and getting answer as i am used to it.
