Hello ! For question 1, the answer c) is said to be correct but I don’t understand why because it seems to be wrong. If you only select the color palette and click apply, nothing happens. I only agree with the a)
As for the question 3, I am a bit confused by the question and answers. As the question is just ‘how to change the shape of a mark’, it seems that a few options are possible to have a graph with shapes and not only the d) to change the shape. Could this be explained in more details ?
For question 1 – if you will select a different color palette and click assign the color of the measures will change as well depending on the primary colors of the selected palette.
For question 3 – the best way to understand the question and the options available is to use Tableau for each available option. Once you will try them you will understand the correct answer – you need to read the options very carefully because some of them will make the shape option unavailable or will just not change the shape.
d) Create a visualization in the source worksheet in Tableau -> Create a visualization in a target worksheet view to serve as the Viz in Tooltip and rename it to identify -> In the source worksheet, click Tooltip in the Worksheets tab -> Select insert and select the target worksheet
Hello! About the 11th question, there is no “Save to Tableau Public As” option in the File menu. Maybe the issue is the version? I’m using the Tableau Desktop 2022.1.0.
Are you using the public version of Tableau or the paid one? If you are using the paid version then you should go to Server > Tableau Public > Save to Tableau Public.

For Q7 – I think option D) is also applicable
d) Create a visualization in the source worksheet in Tableau -> Create a visualization in a target worksheet view to serve as the Viz in Tooltip and rename it to identify -> In the source worksheet, click Tooltip in the Worksheets tab -> Select insert and select the target worksheet
Hi Michael,
Option d) is marked as a correct answer for q7.

Hi!
What is a column value? What does this mean: Column values can be aliased but cannot be renamed.
Thank you..
Hi Jessica,
In Tableau you can set aliases for the values in a certain field. Ex: you can set an alias for the field that stores Product Name for each one of the products that are stored in that field.
You can check more info about this here – https://help.tableau.com/current/pro/desktop/en-us/multipleconnections_edit_primary_aliases.htm
Thanks,
Narcis
