It took a while to figure out how navigate to see whether I passed. The link provided didn’t help, so I went here https://cp.certmetrics.com/tableau/en/home/dashboard. From there, navigate and click the “Go To Pearson” link where you can finally see your score:
Once on the Pearson site, you get the option to view Exam History or View Score Reports
Exam History just tells you when you took the exam and whether you passed.
You get a little more detail when you go to Score Reports… you can see your scaled score. 750 is passing and I did an 815. You can also download a PDF with your score. Love the photo.

I think the photo was taken before… I was clearly very excited about taking the exam!
The exam guide explains, “The passing scaled score for the Tableau Certified Data Analyst exam is 750.”
There is a whole section in the exam guide on scaled scores. Part of it explains, “Scaled scores are a mathematical conversion of the number of items that a candidate answers correctly so that there is a consistent scale used across all forms of the exam. A relevant example is the process of converting pounds to kilograms. The weight of the object has not changed, only the units being reported. Tableau exam results are reported as a score from 100 to 1000. The score shows how the candidate performed on the examination as a whole and the pass or fail designation. Scaled scoring models are used to equate scores across multiple exam forms that may have slightly different difficulty levels.”
Do I understand correctly that it took 4 months to get notification of result?
That is correct, it took four months from the time I took the exam (September 2021) until I received my results (January 2022). The very long turn-around time was for the beta version of the exam.
Now that the official exam has been released, I think results will come much more quickly.

Is the score from Pearson already the final score? Mine was graded one hour after taking the test. I’m wondering if they did not grade the section 2 yet

The score from Pearson is the final score as far as I know. What do you mean by not grading section 2 yet? You don’t have grades for the entire exam?
